Weekend plans? Reconsider them… because the world is ending today

If you were planning on having an epic weekend filled with adventure and activity (or maybe just catching up on some valuable Netflix time), then you may want to consider rescheduling.

Today, 7 October 2015, is supposedly the last day on earth. The world is ending tomorrow, so you better have as much fun as you can right now.

A Christian group in the United States is predicting that today is the end of the world.

If you thought we had been through this with last week’s super blood moon, you were wrong.

The online group, eBible, based in Philadelphia is claiming that today is the last day of the Tabernacles festival, therefore, the final day on earth.

According to their website:

“October 7th, 2015 is the last day of the Feast of Tabernacles (harvest). This, along with several other pieces of Biblical evidence points to that day as the very likely day God will end the world.”

They do add that the day will bring “spiritual enlightenment”, if that’s what you fancy- except you may not be around to enjoy it.

There aren’t many other actual details about the event itself, but in his podcast series, eBible founder Chris McCann seems very certain that the end is now.

So, how is this all going to go down? With lots of fire apparently.

“And he says he’ll not do that again, not by water. But he does say in 2nd Peter 3 that he’ll destroy it by fire.”

The website originally claimed May 21 2011 to be the last day on earth. However, McCann clarified that date was in fact the beginning of the judgement days and those days have now come to end.

He did admit: “There’s a strong likelihood that this will happen,” but that there’s an unlikely possibility that it will not.”
