Tila Tequila ALREADY axed from CBB after Hitler controversy

The new season of Celebrity Big Brother only kicked off on Thursday night and already the house is down one contestant.

Reality star and glamour model Tila Tequila was ejected from the CBB house last night after some controversial information was revealed about her past.

Back in December 2013, Tila reportedly posted a photo of herself on Facebook dressed in Nazi regalia, calling herself "Hitler reborn". She also referred to Hitler as "a brilliant artist" and a "sweet kid" who was "ahead of his time."

Tila's comments began circulating again yesterday after she was revealed as a new CBB housemate, and within hours a public campaign had started among viewers to have her removed from the house.

Channel 5 producers confirmed in a statement last night that Tila had been axed from the show, adding that they had no knowledge of her controversial comments before now. "The views Tila had expressed, and permitted to remain uncorrected, are totally unacceptable and, accordingly, her continued involvement in the programme was untenable," the station bosses said.

The Shot Of Love star posted a formal apology via Twitter last night, saying her comments had come at a severe low point in her life.

"Back in 2013 I made a statement about Hitler not being a bad person, and immediately realised that I had made a terrible mistake that would ultimately come back to haunt me," she wrote.

"During that time I had been suffering from severe depression, and drug addiction for many years prior to that… It was absolutely the lowest point I had ever reached in my life, and today I am truly sorry to everyone that I may have hurt along my self-destructive path."

Other contestants this year include Natasha Hamilton, Stevi Richie, Chloe Jasmine, Janice Dickinson, Jenna Jameson and Gail Porter.

The last series of the CBB was equally full of drama, with three housemates unceremoniously being ejected – Jeremy Jackson for attempting to remove Chloe Goodman's dressing gown, Ken Morley for using racist language on air, and Alexander O'Neal for using homophobic language on air.

So somehow we doubt Tila will be the last celeb to be shown the door…
