The awkward moment this actor forgot he is a married man

It looks as if Benedict Cumberbatch hasn’t quite gotten used to the fact that he is now a married man!

The actor was walking the red carpet at the Oscars with his stunning wife, Sophie, when he spoke to ITV reporter, Ross.

Accidentally referring to Sophie as his fiancée, he realises his mistake and backtrack, sweetly saying, ‘or my wife should I say’.

We’re sure she forgives him – we just love these two together! Benedict and Sophie tied the knot in a romantic ceremony on Valentine’s Day just last week.

They are also currently expecting their first child together.
