Yesterday, the Potter family were introduced to us on Twitter, ahead of The Cursed Child's upcoming release.

But now, the people we have all been waiting on (because let's be honest, Ron and Hermione's love story was SO much better than Harry's) have finally shown what their future selves look like.

Pottermore released photos this afternoon of an aged Ron, Hermione and even their daughter, Rose.

Paul Thornley will play Ron in the theatre-version of the new book, and Noma Dumezweni will proudly take on Hermione's role.

Rose Granger-Weasley looks just as cheeky as her father and as smart as her mother! We LOVE!

Well, just go and rip our hearts right out of our chests, why don't you.

If there's anyone that should be invested in a happy ending for Ron Weasley, it's Rupert Grint, who played him in all seven Harry Potter films.

But speaking at a Warner Bros event recently, Rupert revealed he had a very different idea of poor Ron's fate.

Despite defeating Death Eaters, Dementors and Voldemort himself to be together, Ron and Hermione's relationship just didn't last the distance. At least that's what Rupert thinks.

"I would expect Ron has probably divorced Hermione already. I don’t think that relationship would have done very well," he told the audience during a chat at Universal Studios in Orlando.

"[Ron’s] living on his own, in a little one-bedroom apartment. He hasn’t got a job," Rupert continued.

OUCH. Luckily for Harry Potter fans, Rupert's former co-star Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) interjected, saying, "Don’t say divorced. Say they’ve split up. They can reconcile."

Sadly Emma Watson herself wasn't there to offer her own version of events, but we hope it wouldn't have been quite so bleak as Rupert's one.

If you want to really treat that someone special this Valentine's Day, then a trip to Hogwarts may be in order.

Last year, Warner Bros hosted Christmas dinner in the Great Hall of Hogwarts, but there were a lot of angry people who didn't get to go.

But if you get to go this time, the studio has promised that the night will be extra special. On arrival you are treated to you very own love potion cocktail, and then you'll he seated for a "bewitching banquet."

The menu features smoked salmon mousse and a rack of lamb, but best of all, you can choose from a whole range of desserts. Sound fantastic? Well, there's more.

After dinner, you and your love will get a private tour around the Harry Potter movie set, and there will also be an open bar where you can get your very own tankard of Butterbeer. Yum!

BUT best of all? You can choose your very own WAND to take home with you. *Gasps*.

Ahhh, but there's a catch, ladies. The night will cost you a massive €660. Yep, our jaws dropped too.

If you can afford it, fair pay. If not, maybe you can recreate the special night at home. Maybe.
