It’s the wedding everyone has been waiting for (after Kimye’s, of course) and a date has finally been revealed.

Jessica Simpson will wed her fiancé, Eric Johnston in a ceremony over the July 4th weekend, it has been reported.

The singer had previously disclosed that she would be getting married this year, but no date had been set yet.

The couple have been engaged since 2010 so we bet they are glad they will finally get to walk down that aisle together.

It has also been reported that Jessica plans to wear a dress that is NOT white – we cannot wait to see it!

Ashlee Simpson and her fiancé Evan Ross announced they were officially engaged by sharing a loved-up snap of the adorable couple via Twitter.

The 29-year-old singer and Evan celebrated their engagement with famous family and friends with a vintage themed party.

Ashlee shared the news with a picture of her and Evan holding each other at the party captioning the snap with: “What an amazing engagement party with all of our loved ones! We gettin’ married :),”.

The bride-to-be was dressed in a champagne coloured dress, which featured billowing sleeves and an embroidered floral pattern.

Ashlee’s sister, Jessica who is also getting married this year, shared her delight over her little sister’s good news on Instagram: “Celebrating my best friend and sister@missbananahammock @ashleesimpsonofficial. I love her so much!”

The beautiful Jessica Simpson has had a busy two years giving birth to not one but two adorable children, Maxwell and Ace.

However, Jessica also received quite a lot of criticism surrounding her weight gain, particularly during her first pregnancy.

The singer has admitted that she ate without thinking during her first pregnancy and so gained much more weight than she should have.

But now, crediting the help of Weight Watchers, Jessica has reached her weight-loss goal and is one proud mama!

Posting this gorgeous photo to her Instagram account, Jessica wrote: “AND…a white t-shirt!!! #goalreached thx @weightwatchers”.

Jessica has admitted that her wedding will definitely be this year and by the looks of it she will be one fabulous bride!
