Caitlyn Jenner has been modelling her style on another famous brunette, it would seem.

Rather than turn to Kim, Khloé and co. for inspiration, Ms. Jenner favours a more refined, understated look – and her latest choice of dress is evidence of that.

The former Olympian stepped out in LA earlier this week wearing the same Issa London dress that Kate Middleton chose in 2010 when announcing her engagement to Prince William.

The sapphire blue wraparound 'Phylis' dress sold out almost instantly back in 2010, and again when it reappeared on shelves in Harvey Nichols earlier this year.

It retails at a staggering €800 – though a significantly cheaper €110 version was briefly available thanks to Issa's Banana Republic capsule collection.

Caitlyn seems to have plumped for the original though, as her dress is almost identical to Kate's.

This isn't the first time Caitlyn has emulated the Duchess' style, of course.

When she's not rocking a Kate-esque casual look of skinny jeans, knee-high boots and a blazer, Caitlyn is often seen in dresses very similar to those worn by the famous Royal.

The dress above, for example, is a carbon copy of Kate's Erdem dress, worn to an event in Canada a few years back.

As wardrobe inspiration goes, we reckon Caitlyn could do a lot worse than K-Middy.
