It’s been less than a month since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt.

But just as the media storm surrounding the high profile split begins to settle, Cara Delevingne has come forward to voice her support for the Maleficent actress.

Alongside an Instagram post featuring Angelina, the British model-turned-actress wrote: “My admiration for Angelina Jolie is endless, I also admire anyone who transforms their pain into power.”

“I admire unruly activists.  I admire her continued involvement in the UN as a goodwill ambassador.  She is ruthless, determined and unforgiving in her efforts to make a difference for Refugee’s.”

Describing the mother of six as her “#GirlHero”, the Suicide Squad star went on to acknowledge how Angelina has inspired her on a personal level.

“She also inspired me to follow my dreams into acting,” she wrote.  “And have higher goals of one day becoming a director.  I have chosen her as my #GirlHero today.”

The image has received more than one million likes since it appeared online yesterday and comes as reports begin to circulate that Cara’s ex St. Vincent has moved on from their year long relationship with actress Kristen Stewart.
