With Radiohead and Guns N' Roses confirmed for 2017, it looks like next year is going to be major for Irish gigs.

And now, Bob Dylan is coming to the 3Arena.

The legendary musician has just announced he will take to the stage in Dublin on May 11, 2017.

Tickets go on sale next Wednesday, December 14 at 9am.

But you better be quick, we'd say these tickets will be snapped up in minutes.

With her pop star good looks and amazing voice, we had an inkling that Louisa Johnson was going to be in the X Factor competition for the long haul.

However, as most of us are fully aware, winning the show does not guarantee success. In fact, the majority of winners and runners up of the talent contest don't actually become the break out stars that the show promises to make them.

Could this be the case for our Louisa?

Louisa's first winners single, Forever Young, has become the worst X Factor debut track in the history of the show.

The single entered the UK charts at number nine making it the lowest chart level entry of any previous contestant.

Despite winning the competition with 53.9% of the vote last Saturday, Louisa's Bob Dylan cover only racked up a measly 39,000.

By comparison, last years winner Ben Haenow's winners single went on to sell 214,000 and became 2014's Christmas number one.

While this may not sound like a terrible outcome (she's still in the top ten!), in X Factor terms this is pretty much a flop.

The single has debuted at an even lower chart position in the Irish charts coming in at number 12.

Many are speculating that the success of Justin Bieber's Purpose album may be costing Louisa a higher chart position.

The Biebs is smashing records by holding the first and second chart spots at the same time as well as holding three of the top five chart positions in the UK.

Rolling Stones has just released its 100 Greatest Songwriters Of All Time list.

We all know how good a song can make us feel – regardless of the genre, style or era – so it's no wonder that song-writers are among the most lauded individuals of recent decades.

In one of the most comprehensive lists ever compiled, the publication looks at the best of old and new times – and some of the numbers might surprise you.

Still, the list certainly has a great mix of old-school classics as well as hit pop stars from right now.

The golden oldies include Marvin Gaye, The Bee Gees, John Lennon, and Chuck Berry. A certain Paul McCartney comes in at number 2.

The new kids on the block are doing well for themselves too with the likes of Taylor Swift, Missy Elliot, Eminem, and Kanye West, as well as Jay Z who is ranked at number 68.

Irish folk also make a sizable dent in the list with Bono and The Edge jointly deemed to be number 35 as Van Morrison arrives in at number 22.

And who got the coveted number 1 spot? It was none other than… Bob Dylan.

We think the full list is brilliant with every one of our favourites getting a place.
