Since the finale of season five, Game of Thrones fans have been going crazy speculating whether or not Jon Snow will be returning to the show.

But a recent sighting of Kit Harrington in Belfast has led people to presume that this means Jon Snow will in fact be making a comeback.

The popular character of Jon Snow was killed off at the end of the last series, leaving the world in total shock. GOT fans immediately pointed out that Melisandre, the priestess of the Lord of Light with the ability to resurrect the dead, was present during the awful scene.

It has also been noted that the 28-year-old actor has maintained his long hair which he grew specifically for the show.

And now, he has been spotted in Belfast, the home to the Game of Throne’s set, just in time for the filming of the sixth season.

Of course, there is always the possibility that Kit could be over in Belfast with the rest of his co-stars to shoot a funeral scene, but we are determined to remain optimistic.

A New York bar run by two Irish men has officially been awarded the world’s best bar.

Jack McGarry and Sean Mulddon from Belfast run the Dead Rabbit bar on Water Street in New York’s Financial District and have been since the bar opened in 2013.

And this week they have received the ultimate honour by being awarded the highly prestigious Spirited Award for the world’s best bar.

But this is by no means the first award for the Irish duo. They also won the world’s best bar and best cocktail menu this year, to go along with last year’s awards for best American cocktail bar and best drinks selection in 2014.

In 2013 the Dead Rabbit won the world’s best new cocktail bar and best cocktail menu, while Sean McGarry took home the international bartender of the year award.

The guys thanked everyone for their support saying, “This is the culmination of all the work that so many have participated in. Our thanks go out to everyone in our community who has made this possible.”

Safe to say we know where the first place we’ll be going on the next trip to New York is!

Katy Perry has released the cover art for her new single, Birthday.

The Roar singer tweeted out an image of the cover art which features a very young Katy in a flower patterned dress wearing a big bow in her wavy blonde hair.

The singer is sitting beside her sister Angela Hudson, who is posing adorably in the snap while Katy looks a little fed up.

The singer tweeted the cover art image along with Thursday’s famous throwback trend: “In honour of #TBT may I present the cover of my NEXXXT single.”

Katy says she is preparing for her Prism World Tour which starts in Belfast and she plans on making it the best tour yet.

“I’m very excited because I believe this is my best work yet as far as live performances. It’s going to be just as colourful and fun as before, but it’s obviously not based on candy. It’s grown up. It’s more mature.”
