Balfes

Being one of our all-time favourite tipples, SHEmazing! is rather fond of a spot of prosecco.

So when earlier this year we stumbled across Skinny Prosecco from wine-merchant Thomson & Scott, we were only delira: 67 calories per glass, reduced sugar, organic and certified vegan.

Much like an old friend, Skinny Prosecco has been with us all the way. From its initial arrival in London, to its emergence online for Irish customers, and now to the official launch of the brand on home-soil.

And while previously, we've enjoyed a glass of low-sugar-but-still-totally-tasty bubbles at home – from today Skinny Prosecco (Ellie Goulding is a fan, fyi) is now also available in Balfes in Dublin's city centre.

Balfes, of course, is already the home of Champagne and Bellini popsicles – so the emergence of Skinny Prosecco at the Dublin 2 venue is frankly pretty special.

You know, we don't always feel healthy on a night out… but we reckon all this certainly helps!

See balfes.ie and thomsonandscott.com. Balfes has Skinny Prosecco for €11.50 per glass or €55 per bottle.

We love little more in life than when the food and drink gods decide to ‘adult up’ our favourite childhood treats.

From liqueur-flavoured ice-cream to alcohol popsicles, we are putty in the hands of anyone who manages to combine the two, so hats off to Pops who have everyone in SHEmazing! HQ salivating all over themselves today.

Launching in Balfe’s this Thursday evening, this premium ice popsicle range includes the world’s first alcohol-based Champagne and Bellini popsicles– and this stunning Dublin restaurant has them in abundance!

And if Champagne and Bellini aren't your thing, why not kick your long weekend off in style with a limited edition Moscow Mule – a flavour exclusive only to Balfes!

These glorious new creations – which also come in a non-alcoholic Strawberry & Mint and Apple & Elderflower versions – are the icing on the cake as we approach a weekend which actually ends on Tuesday morning.

Pass us that ice bucket – we're going in.
