So, Mark Wright’s proposal to Michelle was basically a ‘fairy tale’
They’ve spent much of 2016 batting away split rumours, so it’s nice to get back to the romantic side of Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright’s relationship.
In a soon-to-air interview on The Johnathan Ross Show, Michelle revealed the details of Mark’s proposal – and it’s incredibly romantic.
The pair got engaged back in September 2013, while on holiday in Dubai, and it sounds like Mark went to a lot of effort to make it perfect for his leading lady.
“When we first started speaking, I did say that one day I’d like to get proposed to in a white dress and all that – the fairy tale,” she explained.
Mark well and truly delivered, with Michelle recalling: “He told me a story that, on the beach, there was going to be a white party. So I got a white dress, didn’t think anything of it because [an engagement] was two years down the line!”
“But he had it all planned out, so I wore the white dress, I was on the beach…It was very romantic,” she gushed.
The lovebirds went on to tie the knot in May of last year, in a £1 million bash held at Hengrave Hall, in Suffolk.
