The first season of Derry Girls is FINALLY coming to Netflix
There’s been a Derry Girls-shaped hole in our hearts since the last episode of season two aired in April so we are pretty excited about this news.
Netflix never fails to let us down with their content and this month they’ve added one of the greatest shows of all time.
Irish comedy Derry Girls finally joins the streaming service and we are so ready to binge watch the first season of the beloved show when it arrives on July 9.
The show was originally due to be added to the streaming service in May but was delayed until later in the summer.The first season of the show stole our hearts so we cannot wait to binge watch it this month.
For those of you who have been living under a rock and have yet to watch the joy that is Derry Girls, the show follows Erin and her friends as they grow up in a world of armed police in armoured Land Rovers and British Army checkpoints in 1990s Northern Ireland and attempt to navigate the highs and lows of being teenagers.
There are also some brilliant TV shows and movies joining Derry Girls on the streaming service this July.
The new season of Stranger Things lands on July 4 and we must admit we are more excited than ever to see what Eleven, Mike, Steve and co. have been getting up to in Hawkins during the summer of 1985.
The legendary romantic-comedy Bridesmaids has also been added to Netflix this month. Get ready to sing along to Hold On by Wilson Phillips and cry laughing at the iconic aeroplane scene.
Fans of Queer Eye will be delighted to hear that the fourth season of the show will be available to watch from July 19.
We probably won't leave the house for the rest of the summer, to be honest.
