Ray D’Arcy’s Today FM replacement has finally been revealed!

Ever since Ray D'Arcy's shock departure from Today FM for RTÉ was announced in December, speculation has been rife about who might fill the coveted 9am – 12pm slot.

Alison Curtis stepped in for the first few weeks, with comedian Neil Delamere covering the slot this week.

Now though, the presenter's permanent replacement has been revealed… none other than Anton Savage!

The broadcaster has covered Ray's holiday leave a number of times and even had his own show, Savage Sunday, on Today FM, so he knows what it's all about!

Speaking to Neil this morning, Anton revealed that the show will simply be called The Anton Savage Show. No frills there!

Well, as long as he keeps Fix It Friday… we'll be happy enough!
