Sandra Bullock confirms adoption of second child (and she’s adorable)

Sandra Bullock has just become a mammy again as she confirmed the adoption of a three and a half-year-old little girl called, Laila.

The 51-year-old star appeared on the cover of People magazine to announce the exciting news. – though strangely her daughter is only seen from the back or in side profile both on the publication's cover and inside.

Rumours had been circulating recently that the actress had not only adopted a baby girl but had already brought her new daughter home.

"When I look at Laila, there's no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here," she said.

Sandra's new arrival will be a little sister for Louis, who was adopted five years ago from New Orleans.

"I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time. Louis spearheaded this whole journey.

"I knew she was scared, and all I wanted was for her to know Louis and I weren't going anywhere."

The Oscar winning star revealed that the adoption process was like being in witness protection and she worried that her celebrity status would impede the process.

Reports were circulating back in October about the latest addition to the Bullock family, but Sandra denied the claims at the time and has now revealed that the adoption had not been finalised at that point.

As for her love life, 51-year-old Sandra is still smitten with her new man,  model and photographer Bryan Randall. The couple went public back in August and according to various reports Bryan has even moved into Sandra's LA home.
