‘I find it offensive’: Lily Allen is the latest star to slate Honey G
Few expected her to reach this stage of the competition, but Honey G is still charging ahead on The X Factor – much to Lily Allen’s dismay.
Yes, following in the footsteps of Boy George and Little Mix, the British singer has come out to publicly slate the rapper.
Lily is not known for holding back, and she laid into Honey G during an interview on Radio 1’s The Exchange, with host Annie Mac.

The Hard Out Here star – who was, herself, once accused of exploiting racial stereotypes in her own music video – slammed Honey G over what she deems to be cultural appropriation.
“I’m not black but I find it offensive. As far as I can tell, she is a white lady that dresses up in Ali G, Goldie Lookin’ Chain kind of attire,” she said.
The mum-of-two shared her dismay as she added: “She has done really well on X Factor, and ITV is pouring money into her. So wrong on so many levels, I can’t even start to talk about it.”

It seems Honey has had to develop quite a thick skin over the past number of weeks, with ‘80s music icon Boy George branding her ‘ridiculous’ and Little Mix claiming her appearance on the show is a ‘fix’.
Hands up who can see her going on and winning the thing?
