How to turn him down nicely

Saying no to someone who clearly likes you doesn’t always come easy. Since every man is different, it can be hard to figure out just how to get the message across.

Here are a few suggestions to let him down easy:

Be honest with him
If you tell him the truth from the get-go then you won’t be leaving him with false hope.

Remind him that you see him as a brother
Ok, maybe this isn’t too nice, but at least he will see that you do have feelings for him, even if they’re not romantic feelings. – you still care.

Find someone better suited to him
Reassure him that just because he can’t have you, it doesn’t mean he won’t have success with other women. Set him up with someone you think he could get on well with.
