
BREAKING: Two teens freed from overturned school bus in Fermoy
A school bus carrying 45 students has overturned in north Cork amid torrential rainfall and flooding.
The incident took place at 8.15am at Cregg South on the Ballyhooly-Fermoy road in north Cork, known locally as 'the black road'.

Emergency services were working to free two teenagers trapped on the vehicle, but updated reports say the pair have been freed, "shaken but unharmed."

It is understood all the students are teenagers attending secondary schools in the Fermoy area.
The road was immediately closed and emergency services raced to the scene.
Schools are liaising with the Gardai to keep parents informed.
