Talk of Twitter: Cheryl has weighed in on THAT Jennifer Aniston essay

by

Just weeks after Jennifer Aniston grabbed headlines all over the world for reportedly boasting a burgeoning baby bump, the former Friends actress has again grabbed the attention of the global media.

And despite what multiple media outlets around the world might have hoped, the Hollywood heavy-hitter did not break her silence on the issue to confirm the reports.

Dismissing the reports in no uncertain terms instead, Jennifer called on the media to reevaluate the image they have of women – famous or not – and consider the impact societal pressures have on the younger generation.

"The sheer amount of resources being spent right now by press trying to simply uncover whether or not I am pregnant (for the bajillionth time… but who’s counting) points to the perpetuation of this notion that women are somehow incomplete, unsuccessful, or unhappy if they’re not married with children," she wrote.

And like millions other women around the world, Jennifer's essay has struck a chord with former Girls Aloud member, Cheryl, who showed her support on social media this morning.

Taking to Twitter to share the actress's essay, 33-year-old Cheryl wrote: "Just when I thought I couldn't love her any more."

Having been married twice, Cheryl, who is now in a relationship with 1D's Liam Payne, is no stranger to speculation when it comes to starting a family.

And like Jennifer, Cheryl has seen her changing appearance used as tabloid fodder since her rise to fame in 2002.

Agreeing with the Fight For This Love singer, a fan of the star wrote: "She speaks so much truth. It's ridiculous what you both have to put up with to do what you love."

"She's so inspiring isn't she? She's said it right," added another. "I just wish other people could understand such a simple concept."
