Glee star, Jane Lynch, had recalled the struggle she had with her sexuality as a teenager, saying it: "felt like a disease."

During an interview with Huffpost Live recently, Jane said it took her a long time to be comfortable within her own skin: "I was in the closet for so long and it tortured me. I thought I was the only [gay] person in the world."

Jane also spoke of the impact Glee has had on the LGBT community: "I'm glad that this show and the fact that I'm out and open about it will perhaps ease the hearts and minds of some kids when it's not so easy."

There have been rumours circulating for months now about Cara Delevingne’s sexuality, after she was seen hooking up with actress Michelle Rodriguez.

Now, the model has addressed the rumours with a perfect response.

Cara was speaking to The Telegraph when the subject of her sexuality was raised.

In true Cara style, she said: “What do I think? I think people shouldn’t be scared of that. I’m young, I’m having fun, I don’t want to pretend to be anything I’m not. So I don’t really care on that matter. People can say what they want but I’m having fun.”

We love her approach to this – she really is such a laid-back, cool girl and does what makes her happy, no matter what anybody thinks!

Star of Juno and Inception, Ellen Page gave a deeply inspirational speech at the “Time to THRIVE” conference organised by the group Human Rights Campaign held in Las Vegas.

During her speech, which you can watch here, Ellen described her own difficulty with accepting her sexuality describing herself as: “tired of hiding and I am tired of lying by omission.”

Continuing on, Ellen told the audience of her wish to help others who may be going through what she went through: “I am gay … maybe I can make a difference. To help others have an easier and more hopeful time … I feel a personal obligation and a social responsibility.”

Ellen also spoke about the bullying endured by schoolchildren and her own suffering at the hands of media scrutiny.

Truly inspirational, well done Ellen!
