Vogue Willams has settled a breach of contract claim against a popular Dublin dental clinic.

The model brought a breach of contract claim to the Circuit Civil Court in Dublin against Seapoint Clinic last year.

Her claim against the Blackrock business was brought to court today, as Vogue claimed €38,000 in damages previously.

Vogue alleged that in January 2012, she made an agreement with the clinic for dental treatment – which included the fitting of braces and veneers, replacement of a temporary crown and cosmetic treatment – for an agreed sum of €7,000.

She also claims that she agreed to do an interview with an Irish magazine and a video testimonial promoting the clinic for a discount on the price of her treatment.

The 29-year-old then alleged that after having provided the clinic with the agreed publicity, it sought full payment for her treatment.

But Seapoint Clinic did not back down and made a counter-claim against Vogue. They alleged that Vogue failed to attend a number of scheduled appointments and that it had been put to expense and cost as a result.

The clinic delivered a full defence and counter claim to Vogue's today, yet none of which was made public.

Barrister David Boughton, for Ms Williams, told Mr Justice Raymond Groarke in the Circuit Court that his client's claim has been settled and can be struck out with no further order.

Barrister Shane English, for Seapoint Clinic said that the defendant was consenting to the order.
