It seems Eliza Doolittle wants to try a spot of acting, as the singer has revealed that she has filmed a cameo appearance on the Aussie soap, Home and Away.

The singer features in a storyline where Home and Away’s, Ricky Sharpe will become an official photographer for Eliza’s promotional tour.

Doolitte seemed excited about her role in the soap, which was filmed in London last Autumn: “It feels like Home and Away has been on TV since before I even knew what a TV was. It’s just always been there. So fun to be able to say I have been in it.”

Both Eliza’s and Home and Away fans will be able to watch Doolittle’s appearance on the soap, when the episode airs in May.
