Move over Kendall Jenner, there's a new it-girl in town.

This time just over a year ago, Hailey had her runway debut, walking for Topshop Unique in London.

At the time she was still something of an up-and-coming model – best known for her appearances in Justin Bieber's sexy Instagram selfies.

Fast forward to this week, and the 19-year-old powered through the Hilfiger Autumn '16 NYFW show alongside Gigi Hadid, just 48 hours before H&M announced her as the face of their festival-inspired #HMLovesCoachella campaign.

Quite a turnaround, we think.

The retail giant will launch the new collection, featuring bold Aztec prints, bleached denim and stunning crochet pieces, online and in-store on March 31. As a Coachella junkie herself, Hailey was the perfect choice to front the campaign.

"I’m not a big festival person,” she told Vogue, “but Coachella is a must for me. I’m excited to see Skrillex and Diplo."

As for keeping on top of things during what is no doubt one of the busiest weeks of her career to date, Hailey told the magazine that she was doing her best to stay healthy during NYFW.

"I feel good. I’ve just been resting and trying not to overdo it this week,” she said before the Hilfiger show.

"It’s so cold, I don’t want to do anything! I’m excited to be here, though."

Somehow we sense 2016 is going to be a mega-year for this young model.

If you're heading to Longitude this weekend, or any other festival this summer, you've no doubt already started planning your attire.

One accessory we love for adding some short-term bling to your look is a metallic temporary tattoo. These easy-to-apply tatts are available in a huge range of designs, from simple line drawings to elegant jewellery-style creations. But what's on offer and what's the best way to wear them? Let's take a look…

Where to find them
Both high street and online stores have a variety of foil tatts this summer, and here are a few we'll definitely be trying:

Mini Metallic Arrow Temporary Tattoos, €4.99 for two sheets, Claire's

Unique Freak Metallic Temporary Tattoos, €7 for one sheet, Missguided.eu

Desert Dweller By Child Of Wild Tattoos, €27 for four sheets, FlashTat.com

Our favourite ways to wear them
Go loud and proud or keep it subtle, the choice is yours…

1. No need to shell out on new jewellery, just tattoo it on for the day:

2. Go all out and co-ordinate your nails, outfit and other accessories with your tatts:

3. Or stay simple with a tiny arrow or message on your arm, shoulder, wrist or ankle:

Happy tattooing!

Whether you're heading abroad, festival-bound or staying local this summer, a pair of denim cut-off shorts will see you through every sunny day.

Frayed and bleached denim might seem like a casual-only option, but a well-fitting pair of shorts can be dressed up too for a chic and sleek look. Here are a few of our favourite ways to wear our pair…

1. With a tucked-in tank
If you're not into the form-fitting look, feel free to throw a loose shirt over this outfit or tie one around your waist. Perfect with sandals or lace-up boots.

2. Smartened up with a blazer
Gorgeous blazer, loose tee and ankle boots… Rashida Jones is rocking those cut-offs like a pro.

3. With a loose sweater
This is the perfect outfit for lazy summer evenings with a glass of wine. Now, to find a sweater like Selena's…

4. Denim on denim
Go for a different shade of denim on top á la Miranda Kerr and you're good to go.

5. Pop of colour
Who says denim has to be blue? Laura Whitmore's psychedelic short-shorts are definitely on our summer style wishlist.

We've had our first taste of summer this week with some unexpectedly good weather, and we're already dreaming of festival season.

The high street is currently full of festival pieces – from printed playsuits to hold-all backpacks. We've picked out some of our favourites for the months ahead…

1. Cover up
This cape is perfect for throwing on over a bralet, bandeau or crop top, and it'll see you through your summer holiday too – simple beach wear at its best!

Beige Animal Print Fringed Cape, €45, River Island

2. Strawberries and cream
We love the summer colour palette on this pompom top – team with some denim high waisters and you're done!

Lipsy Cream PomPom Top, €27, House of Fraser

3. All in one
A playsuit is the ultimate festival piece – throw it on with a pair of wellies or Converse, pop your raincoat over and you're done. Just be prepared to have to strip completely when you need to go to the loo… A small detail.

Black Embroidered Strappy Playsuit, €29.99, New Look

4. Easy breezy
This trapeze dress is effortlessly stylish and we love the print too.

Striped Floral Trapeze Dress, €14, Forever 21

5. Hippy chic
We need this tie-die kaftan in our lives. NEED.

Label Lab TIe Die Embroidered Kaftan, €77, House of Fraser

6. Bag it up
A backpack or a bumbag is essential for storing everything without having to worry about carrying it while you're dancing. This printed one will go with everything.

Embellished Backpack, €12, Dunnes Stores

Here are some of the fashion must haves that you will need for the summer festivals ahead:

Crop top and skater skirt

kylie jenner
A lot of famous faces were spotted at Coachella sporting this trend and the Jenner sisters are definitely fans. If you’re afraid to show off your tum though, a high-waisted skirt can help in this department.

Doesn’t sound like the most stylish item on the list, but with Ireland’s unpredictable weather, a raincoat is a must-have. But don’t worry, many of your favourite stores are now selling cool raincoats, so you’ll have no excuse for not staying stylish while staying dry.

While not everyone is a big fan of leopard patterns or loud prints, they’re a trend that always manages to make a comeback for vmusic festivals. So, for a few nights embrace the print trend and buy yourself something loud for the occasion.

Quirky sunglasses

A must – no festival is complete without some fun, quirky sunglasses.

Slogan t-shirts

Whether you want to show support for your favourite band or just want to make a fashion statement, slogan t-shirts are fun and a great way to keep cool in the crowd.
