Lady GaGa is renowned for her extreme makeovers but we barely recognised the singer today, when she stepped out in New York with an even more dramatic look than usual.

The 28-year-old singer was spotted out with her new curly hairdo, thick eyebrows, red lipstick as well as sequin leopard print outfit.

Many believed her latest look was a homage to her idol Cher, who is also known for her big hairstyles and unusual costumes.

Well whatever the reason behind Lady GaGa’s latest makeover, the Artpop singer always manages to surprise us somehow!

We wonder if Katy will respond to Gaga’s not-so-subtle dig at her artistic integrity.

The enigma that is Lady Gaga took to her Twitter account yesterday to call Katy out for copying her: “It looks like green hair and mechanical horses are the thing now.”

While the ARTPOP creator never mentioned Katy’s name, there’s no denying who the tweet was aimed at.

While there definitely are similarities, Lady Gaga goes through so many looks and concepts that it’s almost impossible for musicians to try something new that she hasn’t dabbled in at some stage.
