Breaking: Paris airport evacuated following suspicious discovery

According to emerging reports, an area of Charles de Gaulle Airport has been evacuated after security services were alerted to the presence of a suspicious package.

It is understood that travellers were told to leave the area before it was cordoned off by authorities.

Officials have been on high alert after EgyptAir MS804 – the flight which this week crashed before reaching its destination – took off from the French international airport on Wednesday.
