Yes please! Jackrabbit is bringing guilt-free fast food to Dublin

There is literally nothing better than tucking into some take-out, but the guilt of over-indulging can sometimes (rarely) hold us back.

If there was a way to get our fast food fix without the potential penitence, we'd be all over it, and luckily one such cuisine concept has popped up in Dublin City.

Jackrabbit is the seriously cool new street food pop-up being hosted by Cocu on Chatham Street.

Jackrabbit was conceived as a way of bringing chef, Ian Marconi’s, cooking style, which features a medley of big flavours & seasonal ingredients, which are treated in non traditional ways, and applying them to fast food and street food favourites.

He wanted to offer items which are both very familiar to a fast food-loving palette while being completely unique.

Think green chilli and vintage cheddar fries over basic curry cheese chips.

“I like the idea of fast food made completely from scratch using ingredients found in high end restaurants," says Ian.

"My ‘fast food’ is full of fresh, natural ingredients to offset any indulgence.” We like the sound of that.

The self described "healthy street food specialists" will be serving their deliciously indulgent wares in Cocu  from Thursday, February 23, and into the foreseeable future.
