Alessandra Ambrosio has been a Victoria’s Secret Angel for some time now and she knows what it takes to stay in shape.
The model appears on the cover of June’s Self magazine and looks absolutely incredible – but doesn’t keep how she does it a secret. Phew!
Alessandra did admit that prior to the birth of her daughter, Anja, she didn’t work out very much at all, but then that all changed.
“When I started Victoria’s Secret at 21, I never worked out … Then when I got pregnant with my daughter, I gained about 60 pounds and had to walk the Victoria’s Secret show three months later. That was the first time I really had to fight to get my body back into shape.”
The model even shared a few exercise tips: “I’ll do three sets of 25 Supermans … I don’t really do much for my arms: throwing my kids in the air helps already. Plus, as a Brazilian I know the last thing a man is going to look at – even after you feet – is your arms!”
Hmm, we’re not sure we’ll be putting down the dumbbells quite yet!
