Abisko National Park, Sweden
The Abisko National Park is home to the Aurora Sky Station and is one of the best places to see the Northern Lights. The Sky Station is located 250km from the Arctic Circle  and is open on Friday nights from December to March so you better get moving if you want to see the aurora borealis.

Snaefellsnes Peninsula, Iceland
The Sneafellsnes Peninsula is an isolated, narrow strip of land that makes for a perfect viewing point of the light display. It also has a volcano, caves, glaciers and waterfalls to explore while you are there.
