Kitchen appliances don’t exactly rank high on our wish list, but it looks like they’re what nearly a quarter of women are looking to get this Valentine’s day.

A poll showed that a juicer was listed as number one for a surprising number of women, followed by a coffee maker, which came in at second place.

The survey found that many women were opting for technology-based presents over the traditional chocolate and roses.

These aren’t exactly symbols of love, but relationship expert Amy Van Doren thinks that the most personal gifts get the best response because the show how much a man really knows about you.

“’Nothing says ‘I love you’ better than picking a gift that demonstrates, ‘I listen to you,'” she said.

So if you get a box of chocolates and a bunch of roses this year, you might want to re-evaluate the relationship you have with your ‘significant other’.
