The way we feel can have a huge influence on our health – the happier you are, the easier it is to face the day’s challenges.

It’s not hard to feel happy, try it:

Be grateful
Be grateful for what you have. While this may sound cheesy, counting your blessing can help you realise how good you have things which will in turn boost your happiness levels.

Get some fresh air
As your ma would say, “a bit of fresh air will do you the world of good”. It’s true, being cooped up surrounded by constant images of other people being happy on social media will put a dampener on your mood. Go for walk and breathe in nature.

Have a laugh
Get laughing. Put on your favourite comedy show, Google a few jokes whatever it takes but make sure you have a good belly at least once a day

Say hi!
Say hello to people you meet on the street, give a smile and say thanks to the person who serves your coffee or compliment a friend. Being kind to others will go a long way in making you feel happier within yourself.
