If you're one of those women that gets bored easily of their hair, we're here for you.

Whether it's the cut or colour, after a few weeks it feels like your hair is old news and all you want to do is change it up again.

So, you dye it, and cut it and then you're not happy with it and the entire rigmarole starts all over again.

But now, there's a colour-changing hair dye coming to the market to delight all of our hair woes.

Data visualisation scientist, Lauren Bowker, has discovered a new formula which can change the colour of your hair depending on the temperature.

Explaining the process behind this wonderment, Lauren told Dazed: "When heat hits the pigment, or if the cool hits the pigment, it changes the bonds of the chemistry to give you a different colour, so it’s like a chemical reaction.

"If you have red hair and you’re in the wind it might go blue. So what we did was look at data patterns of weathers and the environment in different countries and tailor the colour changes to correlate with those."

It's not available on the market just yet, but will be making its debut along with FIRE hairdressing at London Fashion Week, so hopefully it won't be long until we can all become hair chameleons.
