She’s one of the best known faces on the Hollywood circuit, but that hasn’t spared Khloé Kardashian from Donald Trump’s vile tongue.

Following the release of a 2005 video which documents a seriously misogynistic conversation between the potential president and American presenter Billy Bush, sources close to the Celebrity Apprentice TV show have claimed that Khloé was kicked off the programme in 2009 because Trump didn’t find her attractive.

According to a Huffington Post source, the 70-year-old New Yorker said: “Why don’t we fire Khloé? She is a fat piglet. Why did we get the ugly Kardashian?”

About last night….

Speaking to the Los Angeles Times this week, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star perfectly summarised why Trump is unfit to be in a position of political power as she responded to his cruel words.

“I didn’t think he was saying those things about me,” she said.  “But he says those comments about a lot of women — really derogatory things.”

“Someone who is that simplistic to judge things off of surface is not someone I want running my country.”

“It’s not cool or appropriate for any person, male or female, to judge someone else by their looks…I find it really cruel.”

We hear you, Khloé.

After seven seasons at the helm of Celebrity Apprentice, Donald Trump has surrendered his title. And NBC have found someone we reckon is a pretty perfect replacement – movie legend Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Arnie will take over from Donald when Celebrity Apprentice returns next year, and though the network have cited his political background as the main reason he was chosen, we all know it's really because he'll be comedy gold on camera.

Yes, the Terminator lead is a former Governor of California, with a lot of business prowess, but it's his superstar status that will have viewers tuning in.

Donald was unceremoniously axed from his NBC contract back in June after he made some seriously questionable comments about Mexican immigrants in his presidential campaign kick-off, calling them 'criminals' and 'rapists'.

Never one to take criticism well, Donald insisted NBC were cranky for other reasons. "They didn’t want me to run [for President} because they wanted to do The Apprentice," he said.

Arnold took to Twitter today to celebrate the news, thanking fans for their good wishes.

"Wow. I'm blown away and honored by all your tweets. I can't wait to bring my experience to the board room & raise millions for charity," he said.

Anyone else reading that in Arnie's accent in their head?

As for Donald, he seemed uncharacteristically gracious when he confirmed the news to his Twitter followers, even congratulating his "friend" Arnold:

We cannot WAIT to see Arnold firing his first candidate. There had better be a Terminator quote thrown in…
