Carol Kennelly must be feeling very happy indeed, as she was crowned the ‘Best Dressed Lady’ at the Dublin Horse Show yesterday.
Dressed in a beautiful ostrich feathered skirt and ivory peplum top, it’s no wonder why she was such a hit with the judges, Philip Treacy, Brendan Courtney and Angela Scanlon.
This isn’t the first time the Tralee woman has scooped such a prize either:
“I won in Galway in 2008 when I was pregnant with my little son. I’m just delighted.”
We bet she is, since the prize was a luxurious trip to New York!
It’s that time of year again! Where the lovely ladies gather to show off their latest chic ensembles to win the coveted prize of Anthony Ryan’s Best Dressed Lady.
This year the prize went to teacher Helen Murphy from Co. Cork. Helen wore an elegant ensemble of a white top and gorgeous patterned blue skirt.
The lucky lady wins one diamond solitaire pendant valued at €8,500, a shopping spree worth €1,500 and €1,000 cash. And if that wasn’t enough Helen also gets a Lancôme Presentation Gift Hamper worth €500 and a corporate hospitality package for Galway Races October Bank Holiday Racing Festival. Jealous, us? Of course!
Emer Nash also won the prize of “Wear Irish” and Paula Clancy won the prize of “Best Hat”.
Congrats ladies, the awards are well deserved!
