As strong advocates of treat yourself Tuesday, the thought of getting a little present every day is right up our (festively bedecked) alley.

While we are still big fans of a chocolate filled calendar, this year the diets are starting early and we're switching to beauty-based bundles of joy.

Counting your pennies at Christmas is important, so we've put together our pick of the best advent calendars of 2016 to suit everyone's budget, from high street to high end.

1. Estee Lauder €250
