Back in 2011 Adele wowed the music industry with her second album, 21.

It ended up being the most commercially successful album worldwide over the last decade, but all has been quiet for the singer since…until now.

The mum-of-one is ready for her comeback, with a new album aptly titled 25. The brand new recordings will be released this November, and there are some extremely talented producers already on board from collaborations.

Max Martin, the producing mastermind behind Taylor Swift's Shake It Off and Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl, is reportedly on board, as well as Danger Mouse, who forms one half of Gnarls Barkley with CeeLo Green.

Adele first teased her new album in May 2014, on the eve of her 26th birthday. "Bye bye 25…See you again later in the year x" she wrote alongside a picture of herself looking relaxed in bed.

According to some sources, the singer was set for a surprise Beyoncé-style album drop last year, but decided to return to the studio to perfect the tracks rather than rush things.

"It was complete but she was worried it wouldn’t be as good as 21 and went back into the studio a few times,” a source told Mirror Celeb recently.

"She wanted to release it as a surprise like Beyonce quite a few months ago but it wasn’t ready. She decided to re-write some of the material but it’s now done and will hopefully be released later this year."

While we have yet to hear so much as a leaked track from the new album, singer Ed Sheeran ad already given it his seal of approval… kinda.

"I haven’t heard [the record], but everyone I know who’ve worked on it is just like, ‘Dude… that record!’ Apparently it’s really good," Ed told Capital FM.

We cannot WAIT to see what Adele has in store.
