Super-slim Cheryl raises eyebrows as X Factor filming continues

She's recently been critical of those who've called her out for being too thin. 

Indeed, Cheryl Fernandez Versini maintains that her incredibly streamlined physique is all down to being busy, as well as the stress of losing her father-in-law.

But certainly in Manchester earlier today, the 32-year-old looked slimmer than ever as she turned up for X Factor filming donning a short leather dress in a multi-coloured pattern, along with black Gucci heels.

Her hair was pulled back off her face and she kept her accessories to a minimum.

The singer also shared intimate snaps from the day with her fans. On Instagram, one shot shows Cheryl moving energetically with her arms in the air.

And a video clip sees her dancing with crew members.

"Just a mild version of what goes on behind the scenes when it gets to that time of day and me and my team are deliriously waiting for Simon to either arrive (or have his hair quaffed)," she playfully captioned the video.

However, and despite her frustrated assurances, Ms Fernandez Versini's remarkably slim appearance continues to cause concern. 

Indeed, as the latest set of pictures emerged from the Manchester auditions, many fans felt compelled to voice their opinions online.

"I am surprised she has any energy to stand up," said one, with another commenting: "She looks like a walking lampshade."

Meanwhile, a third suggested: "Your calves are not meant to be bigger than your thighs…"
