Reese Witherspoon to star in live-action Disney classic

After time in Sweet Home Alabama and plenty of years in Hollywood, Reese Witherspoon is set to spread her wings in Neverland.

She will be starring in and producing Tink, a live-action take on Disney favourite Peter Pan.

The script is being written by Victoria Strouse, who also wrote Finding Dory.

The film will be similar to Maleficent where we see the story we didn't know and gain a new perspective on the attitude of the character.

In this case, Peter Pan's moody companion Tinkerbell.

However, the narrative will mainly be based on the idea of J.M Barrie's Peter Pan.
