One WORLD-famous filmmaker is coming over to Ireland next week

Michael Moore, the Oscar-winning filmmaker is coming to Dublin next week for a special IFTA screening of his branbd new film, Where to Invade Next.

Michael is considered one of the world’s most successful documentary makers for his works such as Bowling for Columbine and Fahrenheit 9/11.

He won an Oscar in 2002 for Bowling for Columbine, which saw him investigating American gun control laws.

The film raked in $58 million (€51 million) at the worldwide box office which was totally unheard of for a documentary back then.

Fahrenheit 9/11 went on to make $222 million (€195 million) at the worldwide box office.

Michael’s latest documentary, Where To Invade Next is his first film in six years. The film shows the Oscar winner travelling in countries such as Tunisia, Finland, Italy, France, and Portugal where he experiences those countries' alternative methods of dealing with the social and economic ills experienced in America.
