‘I just love her!’: Who is crushing on Katy Perry?

What’s not to love about Katy Perry, from her cool tunes to her amazing fashion sense? So, it’s no surprise that Barack Obama admitted to having a little bit of crush on the Roar singer too.

Katy was performing at the White House dinner last night, when the President revealed that he was a big Perry fan.

Inviting Katy to the stage where she performed her hit single Roar, Obama told his guests: “We have just one of my favourite people performing tonight — Katy Perry. We are so grateful to her.”

He added sweetly: “I love Katy Perry. She is just a wonderful person. I've just met her mom and now I know why she is such a wonderful person, but I just want everybody to know she is on tour right now and so, for her to take time out to do this, is really special and we really want to say thank you to her for doing this.”

Wow Obama really is a fan!

Katy tweeted later that evening about her fun night at the White House: “Between singing at the White House & releasing one of my favourite videos, today was a good one. #ThisIsHowWeDo.”
