Former Corrie star says her eating disorder is in the past

Former Coronation Street star, Helen Flanagan has insisted that her eating disorder problems are behind her.

The 23-year-old actress opened up about her body image issues and how they affected her while she was working in Corrie. But Helen says that mentality is gone and she feels more confident about her looks now.

“I was a lot younger when I had those problems. Now I’m older I know I would never go back into that mentality.”

However, Helen sparked worries recently, when she lost over a stone after doing a food cleanse with her little sister, Jessica. But the model has insisted that her and Jessica lost the weight in a healthy way and she definitely doesn’t want to lose her famous curves.

“Jessica and I have both lost weight healthily and we still have treats. Hangover days are particularly bad, and there are days when I just want to curl up and eat chocolate. I don’t want to lose lots of weight, for me, it’s more about being toned.”
