Career change? Demi Lovato signs on with major modelling agency

Demi Lovato's new single, Confident, is the kind of self-empowerment anthem that makes you realise you can achieve anything. And that's what the singer has done as she has just signed on with major modelling agency, Wilhelmina Models.

The agency announced the news yesterday and are said to be delighted that the 23-year-old has joined their ranks.

Demi will be joining top runway stars like Soo Joo Park, Neelam Gill AND…Nick Jonas (OK, he's not a runway star but he is a Wihelmina model).

“I'm thrilled to sign my first major modelling contract with Wilhelmina,” Demi said in a statement.

“I’m very excited to see where our work together will go creatively as I enter the next phase of my career and continue to develop as an artist.”

Demi has been quite open about her health struggles in the past and is never shy talking about overcoming an eating disorder or going to rehab.

And while she's happy with her body now, she HATES when editors and photographers Photoshop her body.

"A lot of times I get frustrated because people will, without my consent, Photoshop my body, and it doesn't look like my own body," she told Teen Vogue.

"Like, no, no, no, my thighs are bigger than that, can you put them back to the way they were?"

We think it's refreshing to see a woman so dedicated to preaching body positivity on a model roster. The only way is up from here, Demi!
