TV star arrested just weeks after announcing marriage split

It has been a particularly dramatic few weeks for actor Nicholas Brendon.

According to reports this evening, the former Buffy the Vampire Slayer star was arrested for the second time in a month last night.

Entertainment website TMZ reports that the 43-year-old contacted Florida police claiming that his phone and wallet had been stolen.

However, when authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered that the star had flipped over the bed, and over-flowed the toilet of the hotel room he was staying in.

Police are believed to have found the actor’s wallet on the dresser in the room, and according to sources, they also noticed that he was doing things that suggested ‘he wasn’t of right mind’.

The official police report states that employees of the hotel said Brendon had been mixing pills and alcohol that day, ahead of his appearance at pop culture convention ALTCon.

Brendon was already arrested last month for a similar incident at a hotel.

It has been a very difficult time for the actor, particularly after announcing his split from his wife of four months, Moonda Tee.

Let’s hope he gets the help he needs to get through it.
