Ever wondered if there was a solution to all your beauty woes that did not involve splashing out on creams, serums and makeup?

The beauty world is buzzing about a new beauty hack that involves smearing red lipstick onto your eyes to remove bags and well, according to many, it works! 

So why not get on board with some other questionable beauty hacks. Granted, some of these are WEIRD, but if you don't try you definitely won't succeed. 

1) Vaseline on your pulse points 

If you want your perfume to last all day, all you need to do is apply some Vaseline to the areas which you are going to spray. 

Apparently, Vaseline has a greater capacity for retaining scent than your skin alone. 

2) Rinse your hair with beer

Yes, that wasn't a typo. Beer is apparently ideal at removing any product buildup or dirt from your hair leaving it shiny and soft. 

All you need to do is shampoo, towel dry your hair and rinse with beer. Leave for five minutes before washing. 

Time to crack open the Fosters, lads. 

3) Eyeshadow for your roots 

Have a bit of time to wait before you can get to a salon to touch up your colour?

Grab some eyeshadow that matches your dyed colour and top up those roots using a Q-tip! 

4) Use ICE COLD water to dry your nails

This one sounds like we are trying to trick you! But if you have no time to wait for those freshly painted nails to dry, stick your fingers into a bowl of ice cold water. 

This will be sure to speed things up. 

5) Use baby powder on your lashes

Want naturally fuller looking lashes and your mascara just isn't doing it? Well, maybe you just need to add some baby powder into the mix. 

Apply your mascara as norma and then grap a q-tip coated with baby powder and spread all over your lashes until you look like an ice queen. Reapply mascara and your lashes should look much more voluminous. 

6) Use Vaseline to take off lipstick

Vaseline is definitely a product every beauty maverick should have in her stash. 

Sometimes taking off a highly pigmented lipstick can be an absolute DRAG so just layer on some Vaseline and watch your lipstick disappear in one swipe.
