Get those dancing shoes on as RTÉ One’s series three of Dancing with the Stars is set to return this week.

The line-up looks unreal and they have now revealed that Holly Carpenter has found a new dance partner for the series.

Australian dancer and choreographer Trent Whiddon is the lucky fella who gets to whisk the model around the dance floor.

Trent is replacing Curtis Pritchard after he was seriously injured on St Stephen's night.

The dancer will fill in for Curtis until he recovers from his operation and returns to the show.

Trent opened up about the opportunity, saying: “It's a little bit bittersweet joining the show in this situation. I wish Curtis a speedy recovery and look forward to performing on Dancing with the Stars and working with Holly until he gets back.”

Trent is best known for his professional appearance on BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing where he partnered with Pixie Lott.

Meanwhile, Holly and Trent have hit it off and while they are both wishing Curtis well, their partnership seems like a match made in heaven.

"Trent has saved the day and I feel really lucky to get the opportunity to learn from two amazing professional dancers now," Holly said.

"Trent and I are getting on so well already and we’ve hit the ground running and will make the most of every rehearsal we have before our first performance together."
