Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a barbecue with your friends, family… and dozens of wild animals too? Well now you can. Dublin Zoo is opening its doors after hours to let a lucky group of 200 guests explore the zoo at night-time.

Even though we doubt the zoo's night-time adventures are quite as exciting as the ones we witnessed in Madagascar, you'll nevertheless get to enjoy a full BBQ, music and dancing, along with a tour and special keeper talks.

The event is strictly over 18s but bookings can be made for between one and 20 people, meaning your usual summer night-out shenanigans just got a whole-lot more interesting.

There will be a total of three after-hours BBQs taking place at Dublin Zoo this year: June 20, July 25, and August 29.

Tickets, which are on sale from today, are €47 per person, and can be purchased at www.dublinzoo.ie
