There's been quite a few TV shows over the past few months that have totally blown us away.

One of those TV shows was Stranger Things.

And one of the main reasons the series was so successful was because of this superstar; Millie Bobby Brown.

The 13-year-old played the role of Eleven in the sci-fi drama, and richly deserved the award she took home from the MTV Movie and TV Awards last night.

While accepting her Best Actor in a Show gong, Millie made quite an emotional speech.

"First of all I want to thank everyone that voted and especially MTV…I want to think the cast and crew for being my second family. I love you."

Millie then began to get teary-eyed as she thanked the special people in her life.

"I want to thank my family…you give me light every day. My mom and dad for being so supportive."

She also went onto support the creators of the show, Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer, saying: "They've created a bad-ass, female character that I've got the honour to play. Thank you guys so much. I love you"

Stranger Things season two debuts on October 31 on Netflix, and we can't wait to find out the fate of Eleven.
