Michael Bublé

Earlier this week it was reported that Micheal Bublé’s son, Noah had been rushed to hospital after receiving burns from scalding water.

The almost 2-year old was rushed to A&E at Hospital Aleman in Buenes Aires by his mom Luisana Lopilato on Thursday night.

On Twitter Luisana, 28, write that Noah was doing very well and “God willing we’ll return home soon.”

Michael, originally from Canada, who is currently working and traveling  in the U. was reported by local media to be in constant contact with his wife, waiting for news on Noah’s treatment.

On Friday, the singer spoke with ET Canada about the accident and Noah's stay in the hospital.

He said “It’s tough to see him go through it. I try to remind Lu that we are lucky. That it could have been worse.”

The news of the 22-month old’s injuries came only days after his mom had posted a sweet father’s day photo of the pair on Instagram. The two were cuddled up in bed together with Luisana captioning the photo with “best dad ever".

Speaking about the accident, a representative for Michael has said “this was absolutely nothing major and he's fine thank goodness."

Just last week Michael spoke about his son with People magazine, saying “everything is cute… he’s the best”.

Canadian crooner Michael Bublé came under fire in recent days after he posted a very questionable shot to Instagram, but it looks like he's now keen to pour oil on troubled waters and respond to the backlash he received.

While vacationing in Miami, the popular singer decided to get in a shot with a young woman who was unaware she was being photographed, in a move which was condemned by thousands.

Commenting on the unassuming woman's body, Michael captioned the shot he uploaded with hashtags including #babygotback #hungryshorts and #onlyinmiami.

The ill-advised move was met with considerable backlash and the singer, while initially keeping schtum, felt compelled to respond to the criticism which suggested he was 'body-shaming' the woman at the centre of the photo.

In a heartfelt statement issued to fans and followers, Michael said: "Anybody who knows me would never misinterpret the message of the photo my wife took in Miami that seems to have caused unexpected rage by some people. I do not court controversy."

Asserting that he was raised to respect women, the 39-year-old performer continued: "For the record, it hurts me deeply that anyone would think that I would disrespect women or be insulting to any human being. I was not brought up that way and it is not in my character."

Expressing regret that his post caused offence, Michael finished his apology by saying: "Women are to be celebrated, loved, respected, honoured and revered. I’ve spent my life believing that and will continue to do so."

We wonder if this will be enough to get the Haven't Met You Yet singer back on side with the public.
