As the year is swiftly coming to an end, looking back on 2018, brands were dropping new palettes here, there, and everywhere.

To put it simply, we were graced with some pretty damn good eyeshadow palettes this year.

And with such a wide variety of options, it might be slightly tricky to decide which palettes are worth the splurge. Luckily we have rounded up the year’s best palettes to make the decision a lot easier:

 1. Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam – ( € 50.95 )

This is the most perfect palette for the everyday neutral eye look with plenty of options, BUT, as it says on the tin, with the smokier and shimmering shades can create a gorgeous soft glam.

2. Urban Decay Naked Heat – ( € 40.37 )

If you are a fan of warm tones and if you have tried and tested any of the Naked palettes before, and fallen in love with them like the rest of the world has this is definitely one for you

3. Morphe 35B – ( € 26.00 )

I would definitely say this is the most colourful, versatile, bold and one of the scariest palettes that I have seen this year. If you are wanting to branch out of the everyday taupe and nude shades or even experiment with some new looks, this is a great choice as it literally has EVERY colour of the rainbow.

4. Natasha Denona Sunset Palette – ( € 122.00 )

This palette has the world shook, with the colours, pigmentation, and not to mention the price tag… You are paying for a high quality, luxury product here (but it is so gorgeous!) As your eyes scroll across the palette, you can almost imagine a real sunset with a bit of sparkle and duo-chrome thrown in, to add to the magic

5. Revolution re-loaded palette newtrals 2 ( € 4.99 )

As soon as I spotted this I immediately thought that’s it was a great dupe for the naked heat palette and is available for a fraction of the price.

The pigmentation is AMAZING and the shades would be perfect for creating some smoky berry eye looks perfect for the festive season.

6. Urban Decay On The Run palette ( € 40.37 )

One thing that is for sure with this palette is that I can almost guarantee that you will not struggle to create a multitude of different looks.

This small palette was created to slot into your handbag and carry around the world to serve your every eyeshadow needs whatever they might be

7. Zoeva Cocoa blend palette ( € 21.75 )

From the lightest matte neutral shade to a classic black with red brick, orange sunsets and shimmer in between.

This is a great palette for literally anyone who wears makeup. Not to mention it is free from parabens, mineral oil and it is cruelty free and vegan.

8. Violet Voss HG ( € 45.00 )

As you can see from pretty much every palette that was previously mentioned, warm shadows definitely took over this year and if you are following this trend, or even if you are a bit late this is a great option as it still has some shimmers and taupe shadows to create a day to day look.

9. Huda The New Nude Palette ( € 67.20 )

Even though this only dropped in September, I feel like it deserves a spot in the top 10, considering the amount of love that everyone has given it.

The range of this palette (even though it is primarily nude toned) is nothing short of perfect, with shades going from bronzed to nude to burgundy to what I would best describe as pressed glitters (Which are AMAZING!)

10. Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette ( € 39.00 )

If you’re not a fan of shimmer this is the one for you, with 12 different neutral tone matte shades to choose from and so easy to change up the look with the darker shades.
