Tom Hardy fans, get ready to go crazy!

The Mad Max star has been announced as the new favourite to take over Daniel Craig as James Bond.

Daniel is set to be replaced after his final outing as the secret agent in the upcoming Spectre movie.

The British actor, who will next be seen playing both Kray brothers in the new movie Legend, has made his way up in the rankings in recent weeks, moving from 6-1 to 4-1 favourite.

He is now just behind The Wire's Idris Elba and Homeland's Damien Lewis, who are tied at the number one spot.

The soon-to-be daddy would certainly be a very interesting choice to play Bond, as he is a big rougher around the edges than the stereotypical 007. However, he's no stranger to play a 'posh' role, as we have seen in Inception… He also fills out a tuxedo quite well, might we add.

Tom is also something of an action star, having transformed his body numerous times for his roles in movies such as Bronson and The Dark Knight Rises

Other actors in the top ten include Michael Fastbender, Orlando Bloom and Dominic West.

We might have a tiny crush on Tom here in SHEmazing! Towers so we're hoping he takes the top spot!

No he can officially add record breaker to his impressive CV, twice.

The 42-year old actor Idris Elba has become the first ever make to appear solo on the cover of Maxim magazine.

Speaking about the news, editor-in-chief Kate Lanphear said “we’ve never in US Maxim history had a man on the cover solo.”

Previously men have appeared but alongside women so Idris’ cover makes it a first in the magazine’s 20 year history. We’re pretty pleased about this too.

According to the magazine they couldn’t think of anyone else in the world “more badass” than Idris to take the spot.

Describing the actor, musician and race car driver as “complex” and “sophisticated”, editors said “he was really the perfect embodiment of what I think the new Maximman is.”

Underneath the headline ‘Man Up’ the popular TV star is sporting his trademark beard and cuts quite the stylish figure in a black and grey animal print jacket.

'The guy broke the [British] land speed record which hasn't been touched since like 1928. He's sort of a living, breathing superhero,' said the magazine.

In May The Wire actor drove across the Pendine Sands in Wales at 180.361 mph to break the world land speed record. In a Bentley Continental GT, as you do.

He tells the magazine: “I just like the velocity, and I guess I’m slightly addicted to the risk of it.”

While there were plenty of rumours that got everyone's hopes up that he would take on the role spy James Bond, he admitted he doesn't think that will happen. He will however be on our screens in Star Trek Beyond

Sir Christopher Lee has died at the age of 93.The legendary actor had been hospitalised for respiratory problems and heart failure.

The news is coming a few days after his death – a decision made by his wife of 50 years, Danish model and painter Gitte Kroencke. Ms Kroencke understandably wanted to inform family members first, before releasing the news to the public.

The Fellowship of the Ring star was most famous for his villainous roles, playing the roles of Count Dracula, the Frankenstein monster and Fu Manchu. He also starred as the Bond villain opposite Roger Moore in The Man with the Golden Gun.

Sir Lee also boasted the incredible fact of being the only member of The Lord of the Rings franchise to ever actually meet JRR Tolkien, who was born in 1892.

The star who was also a heavy metal musician has one final film that will be released posthumously, Angels in Notting Hill.

Sir Lee was also set to star opposite Uma Thurman in The 11th, a drama based around the events of September 11th. However, filming had yet to begin when the 93-year-old passed away.

The follow-up to Skyfall is here… almost!

Daniel Craig's next stint as 007 will hit cinemas in November, but in the meantime, Sony Pictures have released the FIRST behind the scenes look at the new movie, Spectre… which is currently being filmed in the isolated surroundings of Austria's snow-covered mountains.

The cast and crew definitely don't have an easy task working in such  a harsh and unforgiving location, but the rewards are more than worth it. "It's a real challenge to be up here, but the payoff is stunning scenery and an incredible location," said production manager Martin Joy.

We can't wait for the first teaser trailer!

Congratulations are in order for Rihanna, who's been tipped to star in the next James Bond film.

The upcoming movie, which has the working title Bond 24, is due to begin filming this December.

The Diamonds singer has reportedly been approached by producers to see if she would be interested in a cameo role. No specifics have been announced yet – but we think she's make a great Miss Moneypenny!

Apparently RiRi jumped at the chance to appear alongside 007. The star "is a big fan of the Bond films and has always loved the idea of appearing in one," a source told The Sunday Mirror.

"She didn't even need to think about it, she knows she wants to do it… She's really excited," said the insider.

Bond veteran Daniel Craig will return for his fourth run as the secret agent in the film, which will be released in 2015.

Rihanna's no stranger to the big screen herself, having appeared in the 2012 action-adventure flick Battleship.

We can't wait to see the singer doing her thing with Bond, Q and the gang!

According to reports, new chart star Sam Smith is in talks to record the theme song for the new Bond movie.

Following Adele’s Oscar success with Skyfall, if plans go ahead Sam could be set for the international stage with the as yet untitled 24th Bond film.

Mr Bond himself, Daniel Craig, is pushing for Adele to make a repeat performance. However a source closely involved with the project stated that “there is only so long we can hold out for Adele”

“Sam is our top choice. He has the profile, cool image and astonishing voice to record a Bond theme.”

If Sam is chosen he will be the first male singer to record a Bond song since 1965, when Tom Jones sang the theme for Thunderball.

Sam Smith may be a newcomer to the music world but he is rising fast. His debut album In The Lonely Hour entered the charts at number one in May, outselling Coldplay.

His next single ‘I’m Not The Only One’ will be released at the end of the month.
