Will Smith has revealed today that he is returning to music and already has a new album in the works!

Speaking on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show, he said that he's got about 30 new songs recorded.

"I have six or seven that I really like, that I'm trying to get the ideas to come out right."

Mr Smith said that after a decade of no music, he's going to be in the studio everyday, recording and working with an assortment of collaborators to find his voice.

"I have so many things that I want to say and I'm struggling with saying them in a way that fit the flavour of music that I tend to like."

Later in the show, the 47-year-old teased plans of a world tour next summer, along with his longtime collaborator, DJ Jazzy Jeff.

Nearly 30 years after DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince released the triple platinum He's the DJ, I'm the Rapper in 1988, this would be the first full tour for the duo, and Will admits he's "terrified" over the prospect.

"I was always making a movie, so we've never actually done a full tour. So I'm looking this summer to be the first time that we go out on a full world tour."
