Soap star James Bye & wife reveal gender of latest addition
Congratulations are in order for James Bye and his wife Victoria as the pair are celebrating finding out the gender of their latest addition.
The EastEnders star and his wife announced they were expecting their little one together on New Year’s Day and have now shared that they're having another little boy.
The pair are already parents to eight-year-old Edward, six-year-old Louis and four-year-old Hugo, and have previously spoken about having multiple heartbreaking miscarriages in the past
Posting the gender announcement to Instagram, James and Victoria shared a video of the family getting ready to sit down together before James and Victoria turn a framed photo towards the camera that reads, ‘The Bye Boys’.
Victoria captioned the post, “It’s official… The worst kept secret ever is out! It’s a BOY! And truly… all 5 of us are over the moon”.
“Honestly, we’ve been telling everyone – how we’re supposed to keep his name under wraps (yep we’ve decided!) is beyond me… We’ve just been SO excited”.
“These little boys are my world & I truly believe – ‘you get what you need’ (think I saw that on a t shirt somewhere…) but it’s so true”.
She continued, “I need these crazy guys. They fill my days with laughter, noise (so much noise) & endless cuddles – they also drive me up the wall. But they’re my team. And I know how lucky I am”.
“I’ve lost count of how many people ask me if I’m going to ‘try for a girl.’ And I get it… I’ve mentioned before, that a previous version of me would’ve loved a girl. I assumed (before having them) that ‘boys would be boys’”.
“Dirt, snails & puppy dog tails. And yes, cards on the table – there is ALOT of dirt.. & snails & all manner of other ungodly faff… but there’s also SO much more. The old stereotypes just don’t apply anymore – to boys OR girls”.
The 40-year-old went on to say, “My boys have long hair, write stories, bake cakes & play music… and yes, they also wrestle, speed eat pizza, collect worms & can armpit fart with the best of them”.
“But like all children, they’re not set in a one size fits all mould. They’re people. Wonderful, infuriating, fascinating, exhausting & very different little people. And I’m just so lucky that I get to be a mama to them… and I’m so excited for this new little individual to join the crew”.
“We’ve been dreaming of him for so long & to know that he’s nearly here… Our little rainbow. It means everything…Yep, one thing’s for sure – he’s so loved already.
She closed off by adding, “Where he’ll go & who he’ll become is all yet to be written. And I can’t wait for the journey to start”.
Many fans of the actor and his blogger wife headed to the comments to congratulate the pair on their great news. “Born to be a boy mum! So many gorgeous little men to raise. You guys are gonna smash it all over again”, wrote one.
A second penned, “Lovely news! Your destined to be surrounded by boys vic. What a team!”
“Bless you!…I am so happy for you all and excited to see pics of baby boy number 4 very soon”, added a third.
